What is the document?
Tell us the document type and where it came from: state office, county, court, company registry, school, or another source.
Request
Most official-record requests can start before you upload or pay. Send the document type, source, destination country, and real deadline. We will check whether the job needs a certified copy, apostille, legalization, notary step, shipping, or review. If you only need notarization, use the upload path instead.
Start here
Use the request form for official records, apostilles, certified copies, legalization, shipping, or document-route review. If you only need online notarization and no apostille, use the notary upload path instead.
Start your request
Use this form for records you already have, records you need us to obtain, apostille or legalization review, or certified-copy-only requests. If you only need notarization and no apostille, use the notary upload path instead.
Notary Geek has handled more than 15,000 document or client matters through its service and related workflows. The point of this intake is to confirm the right next step before you pay.
If originals need to move, ask before shipping. For completed records or documents that do not need notarization first, we can often provide a FedEx label so the package goes to the right place the first time.
Notary Geek 100 South Belcher Road #5148 Clearwater, FL 33758By submitting a request or file, you understand that Notary Geek may store your submission, provider event data, and related files in private backend systems for review, audit, support, and workflow operations. Read the Privacy Policy.
Notarization-only path
If your document only needs to be notarized and you do not need apostille, legalization, or certified-copy handling, start at the online notary upload page. That keeps you out of the apostille intake and gets the signer workflow moving faster.
Before you message us
Sending these up front helps us avoid guessing and gives you a cleaner answer.
Tell us the document type and where it came from: state office, county, court, company registry, school, or another source.
Tell us the destination country and any embassy or consulate instructions you already have.
Tell us the real deadline and whether you need scan-back, courier delivery, or original documents shipped.
Tell us whether you need a record obtained, an apostille, legalization, a notary step, or review of documents already in hand.
Once those facts are in the request, we can usually tell you what should happen next.
Pick the workflow
Start with the facts that tell us what kind of job this is. We can often review company and official-record requests before the document is physically in hand.
Use this when you need a company status document, certified copy, court record, or other official record obtained. For many company records, the company name and document type are enough to start.
Start record request ReviewUse this when the record is already in hand and you want the suggested next step explained before apostille, legalization, or mailing.
Send record details Notarization onlyUse the online notary upload path for a signer-created document that needs a notary act and no apostille or legalization after that.
Start notarization-only upload Third-partyUse this when a lawyer, employer, family member, or other organizer is sending the documents first, handling payment, or keeping the signer workflow simple. The signer still has to communicate directly before the route is accepted.
Open third-party intake Already uploadedUse this signer form when the package is already with us and the signer should not be asked to upload the same file again.
Open signer-only formWhat lets us answer fast
Most requests move faster when these are in the first message.
Tell us what it is and who issued it: state office, county, court, company registry, school, or agency.
Tell us where it is going and when it is needed. Embassy or consulate instructions help when you have them.
Tell us if you need a certified copy, apostille, legalization, online notarization, scan-back, courier delivery, or review.
Combined packages
1583 Pro helps with USPS documents. If the same order also includes a signer-created document, that document may use a Florida online notary public through Notary Geek, while the USPS record stays with the USPS apostille handling.
A company status document, certified copy, articles, court record, or county record generally follows the state or office that issued that record.
An operating agreement, POA, affidavit, authorization letter, UBO letter, or similar document may need an online notary act first. That notary act is commonly handled through a Notary Geek Florida online notary public.
Before final payment, we identify how each document will be handled so the online notary step is explained clearly when it belongs in the package.
Special intake paths
Most requests should use the main request form or normal online notary upload. These two paths are for cases where someone else is organizing first or the documents are already with Notary Geek.
Use this when a lawyer, employer, family member, or other organizer wants to give us the documents first and keep the signer path simpler.
Use this when the signer should not see another document-upload field because the package is already with us.
If one of the signers is paying and the signer still needs to upload the documents, keep using the standard request or notary-upload path.
Verification sources
Use official records and public profiles to verify the service before sending documents. Online notarization usually uses Florida online notaries. State-issued records stay with the office or state that issued them. Signers outside the U.S. can use a non-U.S. passport and do not need a Social Security Number.
Each card opens the source directly so you can confirm the latest profile, rating, or listing in its original context.
Tools we use
You should not have to figure out whether the next step is payment, ID, notary, apostille, or shipping. Send the document first. We put the next step in the right order.
When it is time to pay, we use our direct Stripe account.
When ID verification applies, use the real ID in your hand. The check asks for a selfie; a photo or scan is not a substitute.
When shipping is part of the job, we work through our direct FedEx and DHL accounts.
Provider names explain tools we use. They do not mean the provider sponsors us, endorses us, or decides the route.
Operating experience
These figures come from Notary Geek's own records. Use them as background, then verify the public sources above when you want independent proof.
